Hello World!

I am Mahima, a designer who believes technology has the ability to improve life for all humans alike and shouldn't be gatekept. As a designer, my goal is to create products that are accessible, empower users and make businesses grow. I believe good products balance both user and business needs.

Currently, I am helping build Loky, an AI agent providing on-chain intel for other crypto agents in the Web3 space.

Before this, I worked as a freelancer with a diverse set of clients to create engaging websites, mobile apps, and branding solutions that are user-friendly. I am particularly passionate about accessibility (WCAG) and designing for inclusivity. I bring an empathetic mindset to every team I work on, improving flows not only for users, but also for those with whom I collaborate.

I often get asked why I chose Product Design after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer. During my studies, I interned for a few product design firms. While my role was entirely engineering-focused, I had to work closely with designers. I loved what they did and realised it was what made me more excited than engineering. The thought of making a product that users love is what gets me out of bed every day.

When I am not crafting experiences, you can find me crocheting cute toys, reading a book, playing a video game or learning a new language.
